Series that I would recommend: Broken
In this post I recommend you to watch a series that is on netflix, it is not necessarily my favorite, but I think it is important to expand the information it delivers. This series is called Broken, it has about 5 chapters in which all of them have different topics. The director of the series is Chris Cechin‑De La Rosa (Rotten) y Christopher Collins (Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown). And they do not have characters per se, but it is focused on issues that affect our contemporary society. It revolves around the excessive consumption and the consequences they have in different countries. The purpose of this series is to raise awareness about what we consume.
The first chapter is about fake makeup, wanting to show that makeup is sold at very high prices but does not have the best health or the best conditions for workers who produce it.
The second chapter makes an investigation about a vapers company, which was under questioning because it generated a high consumption in teenagers, and that's not all, but that having nicotine generated a high dependency which was hidden under the "white smoke" and the different flavors they offered.
The third chapter carries out an investigation on cheap furniture and the deadly consequences of the poor safety and quality of the materials with which they are made, as well as the implications of "self-assembly".
And the last chapter revolves around the lie of recycling, in which the major companies that produce plastic, prefer to reuse it to make new material.
And that is all, thanks for reading. bye
